Welcome!

The idea of The Pacific Evangelical School of Ministry was born from the prayers and deliberation of the Pacific Conference Board of Ministry. How best do we provide Christian workers who know, adhere, preach, and teach faithfully the doctrine of The Evangelical Church? To answer this question, the Board pursued meetings with Western Evangelical Seminary, the Annual Conference, and ministerial candidates. The result is an extended program of theological education designed to fulfill both the Conference Course of Study and the Alternate Graduate Level Study Program.

State Approval

The Pacific Evangelical School of Ministry is a nonprofit corporation that meets the criteria listed in Oregon Revised Statute 348.604 for a religious exemption by the State of Oregon Higher Education Coordination Commission to offer theological and/or religious occupations degrees.
